On Khayra

As usual, there's a lot more to say about Khayra, yelah anak bongsu, after all Jazzy had her time.

Emergency @ Hospital Putrajaya

Khayra just slept @ 2.45 am just now. Before dat she was having fun, playing with Jazzy and Auntie Dilla. Jarang dia buat perangai main malam-malam ni, selalunya 11 pm dia dah nyenyak sampai ke pagi except for nite feed. What happened? Agaknya puas dah siang tadi being lembik. This morning she had very high temperature of 40 degree that we brought her to Emergency @ Hospital Putrajaya. Like melancholic, what we'd been through almost 7 months ago, Khayra had [again] a blood test and this time, X-ray too. As if she remembered how painful her blood tests was before [during her yellow fever period] she cried until her face turned red and muntah a bit. while us, the procedure was just too familiar. Well... Alhamdulillah, she does got infection in her blood but not the level that she needs to be admitted to the ward, they just gave her a strong antibiotics for 3 days, elixir and also PCM. I am paranoid to meds to d kids already sebab dah selalu sangat but since this time hospital yg bagi... lega sikit rasa hati. So she still cry and cry petang tadi sampai Ummi yang shopaholic ni tak ikut Babah gi beli groceries nak jaga dia kat umah and finally slept from 4 pm - 7 pm. Dah puas tido agaknya, tu yg lambat sangat dia tido tu... [there's a picture of us in the hospital tapi tak sempat nak upload lagi, will update later]

7 months 2 weeks :: milestone :: Crawling and Teething [badly]

Dia main bukan sebarang main until 2.45 am tadi, she was CRAWLING. These past few days memang dia dah start angkat-angkat bontot, tapi tak gerak lagi. But today, bila dah lega sikit malam tadi, she started to move!! We were thrilled! And also, maybe one of the biggest cause of the high fever is that 4 of her teeth are showing buds!! hehe... Mana tak demam, sekali semua nak jadik at one time... infection tu satu hal lah kan.

Other than teething, Khayra suggests that this could also be used as a pair of sunglasses - Babah cakap Khayra macam Cheezels.

Khayra is also a good teacher, she was trying to teach Auntie Mein how to haf strong legs >>

On Jazzy

Last two weeks me n Babah had to take a half day off [patutnya MC je, sebab my stupid company potong my gaji for 2 hours dat day, kononya anak tak cover *grrr*], Jazzy had a mouth allergy. Bangun tido tiba-tiba nampak she had a fat-mouth, kami yg dah bersiap gi keje rupanya bersiap untuk gi klinik. Tatau la apa yang silap makan... sampai jadik gini >>

What happened? She was actually trying to HELP throwing Khayra's diaper into the plastik sampah but ended up hitting a jar of Ribena. Memang lah marah gila makcik dibuatnya, sampai tak terkata sebab masa tu umah baru je kemas.

But yeah... she was trying to be a good help. Intelligent as she is [tak kira nak puji jugak] see what she can do with the 'intelligent machine'. At first I took this picture senyap-senyap, then when she realize I was with camera, she was boasting and pointing at what she did. Wattodo... kenalah admit... Adobe Illustrator tu wei, at 4 years old! And she did EVERYTHING by herself, I didn't Create New Document for her, nor did I teach her the Tools in hte Tool Palette I think she just learned by looking at what I did when I do my work at home. Owh did I mentioned she knows how to play Minesweeper, Freecell and Solitaire already? Anak seorang Mat IT and Minah Multimedia, can't help it, eh? Nampaknya soon ada orang akan jadik antu The Sim n Red Alert macam maknya. Abessss....!! [And Nenek Butik really wants her to be a Surgeon, yeah right!] >>

Long overdue....

Here are new pixies... been months, eh? Khayra pun dah besar, 7 months next week. She's trying to learn to sit, but mostly now she's very very mobile, just by rolling and rollling and rolllinnnggggg! Latest news, Babah almost tot someone kidnapped her when he woke up @ 3 am this morning to find Khayra is nowhere in sight. Rupanya dia tido bawah kerusi!

This was when I gave her her first solid, one week before she turned 6 months. She totally enjoy solids! She must be thinking 'No wonder la Umi tembam semacam, this solid tastes good!' :op

Well... beside Rusks and Nestum, another of her fav snack is her own foot!

They are soo fond of each other. Makes me smile everytime!

They even had fever together.

My cutie pie in gowns... She's totally a gown girl, unlike Jazzy, we dressed her mostly in Jeans. But Khayra... her softness makes us buy gowns gowns gowns.

Trust me, this wasn't candidly shot. It WAS a post. Jazzy n her daydreams! Owh did I mention we might get sumone as Dafi AF5 as menantu? OMG she's totally throwing her heart out for dat boy *sigh*

Battle of 3 Anak Sulungs

In our house ada 3 anak sulung.

Me.
Babah.
Jazzy.

And these three selalu berbattle. Al-maklum, kami yg memang sedia keturunan panas baran, anak sulung pulak selalunya mmg keras kepala. And tambahan lagi, I haf a very high-pitch voice, and MANY ppl are iritated by it especially the two other sulungs. A disadvantage of being a indo-minang lady. Some may say it's an advantage, but to me itsa curse. Siap semayang hajat lagi nak slowkan suara. tapi takleh. memang dah dari kecik. Suwey betul.

But out of it, Khayra benefits d most. Dia yg paling kena sayang dengan semua para sulung. Bongsu la katakan. Haha.

Tapi suara Khayra dah ada ciri-ciri suara Umi. Uh-oh.

Khayra started solid... meniarap....

I am sorry dat I am too bz to blog. Khayra has started turning herself (meniarap) since last 2 weeks, and I started giving her solid food (Dumex Nutrakids for now) since last Thursday since I got a 2 days' MC for having acute asthma attack the previous nite. I got pix of her first meal, but I am in no position to upload it now. I will. I WILL.

B'day Babah, New Nieces

Babah turned 31 last 11th of June 2007. Biologically Babah's birthday is actually 12.30 am 12th June 2007, but the nurse who wrote his Sijil Beranak put 11th June, so Babah's b'day in d IC is one day earlier. If not, b'day Babah would've been the same with Alyssa Sofea bt Azmelvin, our new niece who was birthed (normal) 3.2 kg 12th June 2007 sumwhere around noon. Babah alerted me with the happy news dat very day just a few minutes after her birth after he had been alerted by the baby's daddy, Ben, my adik ipar who's living in Alor Star now with wifey Salwa. but she had given birth Perlis, her hometown.

Two more new nieces (TWINS!) were previously born in SJMC - Aryssa Saira Ahmad Akram and Arianna Saira Ahmad Akram on the 8th of June. Mummy `Na hadto undergone C-Section, but all are well now.

Babah is very excited and announced 20th of October 2007 will be Khayra's and Lyssa's Cukur Jambul in our Kg. Sim-Sim, just one week after Hari Raya Aidilfitri. All are invited, provided u can buy the plane tix urselves, hehe Babah also was over-excited when he fixed the theme color for this raya PINK, applicable to EVERYONE in d family. He was so excited that he forgot that we already WEAR PINK FOR RAYA BEFORE and now even DADDY and BEN and ZUL (another adik ipar) hafto wear PINK. hahahha... sukati awak ler Babah. Mentang-mentang all girls, dia fix semua PINK. I LURVE PINK. but others terpaksa la LURVE also. :oD

As a newly working mother, all we can think of how to spend our 1st salary is for our families, ESPECIALLY our kids. So... here's Khayra with her cool Fisher Price 3-in-1 huge toy, convertible from a musical hanging thingy to a basic piano when she can sit and when she could already stand, it converts to a rocking horse! And... it's pretty costly but... hmm...

Haf u seen a cannibal before? We haf two in our house haha!

I bought this teether at mom's care yesterday, since over the weekend Khayra have been vigorously chewing her hands [and of course ppl's cheeks when they try to kiss her]. cost me RM29.90. What??? Teether pun RM29.90. Aha... there's a magic on it, it vibrates when Khayra bites!! haha she sure loves it! Dia punya geram wit dat thing, sampai menggigil dia gigit the teether.

So... now u know, why i wanna work so badly. Apart from to haf money for myself, it's for d kids. Kakak already got tonnes of new baju from my first salary. Now Khayra's turn. SO WORTH IT!
